Why we exist
Connection
Moving to a new place can feel isolating. We believe in soft introductions, spontaneous meetups, and spaces where you don’t have to try so hard to be included. Stockholm Girlies exists to help women connect offline, in real life, with warmth and intention.
Friendship
We’re not here for surface-level scrolls or quick DMs that fizzle out. We’re here for the long walks that turn into dinner or the group chats that actually feel safe. This is a space where slow friendship is celebrated, and showing up as you are is more than enough.
Community
This community was created with women in mind. It’s a space where we can relate to one another, share stories, and build real connections. Whether you’ve just landed or have been here for years, this community exists to remind you: you don’t have to do life in Sweden alone.
We believe friendship is a form of self care.

Stockholm Girlies is a community run entirely by volunteers.
Every event, social media post, and cozy meet up you see is powered by passion and spare time.
Donations go directly toward the things that help us grow and stay sustainable, including space rentals, snacks and treats, materials for workshops, website and tech related fees, calendar integrations, printed materials, email marketing to brands/businesses for collabs, and more!
